Where is the new money tourism coming in for Thailand?

 

New money tourism is coming in from local food and beverage companies partnering with outside of country music festivals also known as music events, music festivals, or raves? (EDC, Tomorrowland, etc. )

 

These partnerships between companies like Singha, LEO, Chang, etc. with these Rave partnerships are necessary to keep the Thailand entertainment worker industry alive and nightlife bar industry alive and the three big alcohol industries alive and other food and beverage companieses…. With them Thailand can continue to produce economic prosperity  for the people and affect jobs and growth in employment.

Thailand will host the Tomorrowland music festival in 2026, marking its first-ever Asian edition. The government has approved a five-year deal from 2026 to 2030, with a budget of Two billion baht to support the event, which will be held annually at Wisdom Valley in Chonburi province. The festival will integrate world-class electronic dance music with Thai culture, and the government expects it to boost the economy and tourism. 

• Timeline: 

  The first festival is scheduled for late 2026, and the agreement runs through 2030. 

• Location: 

  The event will be held at Wisdom Valley in the Bang Lamung district of Chon Buri province. 

• Budget: 

  The Thai government has approved a budget of 2 billion baht ($61.5 million USD) to support the event over the five years, with 400 million baht allocated for organizing costs each year. 

• Cultural Integration: 

  The festival aims to blend the international EDM experience with Thai culture, local cuisine, and art. 

• Economic Impact: 

  The government expects the festival to generate at least 12 billion baht in visitor spending.It's also viewed as a way to develop human resources and transfer international expertise to the Thai event industry
